In the latest issue of the Industrial Law journal [subscription required] published in the United Kingdom there are number of interesting notes, including one by Douglas Brodie Risk Allocation and Psychiatric Harm: Yapp v Foreign and Commonwealth Office (2015) Ind Law J 44: 270-280. Damages were held to be recoverable both for the financial losses not dependent on proof of personal injury and for the psychiatric harm incurred.
