Anglo Operations Ltd (Kleinkopje Colliery) v Num (J 779/15) [2015] ZALCJHB 154 (21 May 2015) per Steenkamp J.
On the return day of an interim ruling the Labour Court granted a final order interdicting the strike. It was confirmed that as the employer had yielded to the trade union demands, or the issues were covered by a collective agreement, any strike action would not be protected. The demands related to restructuring, reconfiguration, pre-interview panels, health and safety representatives, the appointment of a second full-time health and safety representative and bonuses.
