The trade union was ordered to reinstate a regional organiser as from 22 July 2010 but only did so on 7 May 2013.  This meant that the applicant did not receive over R223 000 which he  alleged was due to him.  The Labour Court refused to direct the registrar to issue a writ of execution for that amount because there was no actual judgment against the trade union to that effect.
