Yesterday SALN referred to a report by Getrude Makhafola in Business Report on 11 August 2015 that the Liberated Metalworkers Union of SA (Limusa) has accused its rival, the National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa), of attacking Limusa members while they were on a recruitment drive in Pietermaritzburg. Limusa, an affiliate of Cosatu, is widely seen as the replacement in the federation for Numsa, which was expelled from Cosatu last year. Limusa was admitted into Cosatu in March.
