Hyperlinks
All hyperlinks appear in grey blue and are underlined. For example, if the names of the parties of a case are underlined and appear in grey blue, then there is a hyperlink to the actual case report thanks mainly to SAFLII (Southern African Legal Information Institute) of which GilesFiles is a proud partner. Click on the names of the parties, to view the case report.
Lectures
Listen to lectures by Graham Giles. For example, here is the first in a series of lectures given by Graham Giles on the early historical background & development of work law.
Caution: The audio files on GilesFiles are rather large. Most are about 4MB in size and last for some time. If you press play, you will start to download the audio file. By pressing pause you will only pause listening to the lecture and not the downloading of the audio file, which will continue until finished. Depending on the speed of your connection, you might not be able to listen to more than one lecture at a time.
Comments
Please feel free to comment – all registered users have the right to comment. Comment on a judgment, award, journal article or lecture. Ask questions, mention what you are interested in or would like to get out of an upcoming lecture. We will try to answer all questions asked on GilesFiles.
